Below you will find our general rules, PVE and pvp rules. While these are specific to Space Engineers, please remember to follow our Community Rules as well.
Do not attack players in PVE space! (3) letter factions are players, (4) letter factions are NPC!
Players are allowed to have base or grid turrets to deter unwanted visitors.
All grids must be named with the “Playername - Gridname” format, or Staff won't assist with the issue.
Build sensibly! Big for the sake of big is frowned upon, some builds are better left to creative mode.
Example: Grids over 100,000 pcu are unnecessary for multiplayer servers.
If Staff asks/needs you to fix something, cooperate, or it will result in loss of grids.
No Clang inventions. (Clang drives, Clang cannons or launches, etc.)
Vet your faction mates! You are responsible for the people you invite into your factions.
No backstabbing your faction or giving base GPS coordinates to the enemy.
No in-siding, infiltrating of other factions, or any forms of gaming the faction system.
No use of exploits! If you find one, report it! Cheating or hacking will result in a ban.
Follow block limits as intended. Attempting to cheese block limits will result in the loss of grids.
Connecting Grids together to allow for more production is considered building over the limits and clustering, and will lead to grid deletion.
No inappropriate names (curses, political, slurs, etc.), this goes for both players and grids.
No alternate accounts (second steam accounts) or use of a “friend or family” account.
No creation of another account to continue playing on our servers after your first account is banned. This will result in a permanent ban to any new accounts.
No open spawns. This increases load times for others and may result in a loss of grid.
No trolling with information that could result in the loss of a player's grid (
IE, jumping into the Black Hole).
No switching grid ownership to Nobody to bypass Limits.
Disrespecting, threatening, or calling a Staff member names will result in a permanent BAN.
Impersonating another player for whatever reason or changing your own name in order to trick your fellow players is a punishable offense.
ALL Discord Rules apply to in-game chat, keep it clean, respectful, and don't spam.
Here at SI, we understand that mistakes happen, however, we tend to only replace a grid if it is a server-related issue like a crash. Many lag spikes and other mishaps are commonly found on the player's end and are up to the Staff's discretion on if it gets replaced.
